Beautiful Butterflies & Their Life Cycle
The instructors were great! My students were very fortunate to experience the butterfly activities at Carrie Weedon.
The hands-on work with the microscopes/specimens was beneficial because it brought to life our classroom instruction
about butterflies. We look forward to our trip to Carrie Weedon next school year. Thank-you!!

- The children learn about the life cycle of the butterfly.
- They make a model to take home.
- Butterfly Anatomy
- Children learn about the anatomy of the butterfly
- They observe the parts of the butterfly using microscopes, stereomicroscopes and magnifying glasses.
