Retired AACC Professor of Biology
Dr. Gemignani, a retired Anne Arundel Community College professor of biology, will 'show & tell' about the extensive taxidermy collection at CWSC. The collection is on loan from AACC thanks to Dr. Gemignani & includes more than 100 specimens that you'll be able to see first hand. "Ask a Master Gardener" Chairman
Joe Marsala
On this 1st day of spring, Master Gardener Marsala will discuss how & when to wake up your garden for the coming year. Mr. Marsala chairs the "Ask a Master Gardener" project & can be found answering questions at the Farmers Market in Annapolis. In May 2007 he delivered a presentation & accepted the "International Gardener Search for Excellence Award" in the public outreach category at the International Master Gardener Conference on behalf of the team.

"A love of birds took me to the Maryland National Capital Planning & Parks Commission, where I work with permanently injured owls & hawks & I am responsible for every aspect of the care & safekeeping of 13 raptors." Dr. Ralph Eshelman
Now retired, Ralph was the first director of the Calvert Marine Museum. Tonight he'll discuss lighthouses through history, from the first that were constructed along the Mediterranean Sea to those along the Chesapeake Bay. As chairman of the National Lighthouse Center and Museum Steering Committee in the late 1990's, Dr. Eshelman was instrumental in site selection for the future National Lighthouse Museum on Staten Island.
